I love my shitmons but I think one day GF is going to succumb and make games with tiny rosters where the powercreep makes mostly the new Pokemon viable. You can already see this in SV starting to take shape. This will be great for competitive players but I think it will cost the little balance and game design remaining in single player. They will sacrifice everything in the name of competitive "balance".
