I feel like a lot of those gripes in that pic can be applied to other artists as well, they aren't Negishi specific save for the "glossy" highlights which is arguably his 'style'. Also there is a shadow under the flygon. Where is the pic from anon? It's very interesting. But I do agree with you, some of his stuff does feel phoned in. I feel like any TCG artist can suffer from this, even the greats like Arita and Komiya. Never Yuka Morii though for some reason? She don't miss.
