>>55972942There's are a number of electric types whose yellow and/or blue coloring feels arbitrary but I think it works. Tarantula's diverse coloring is one of their most famous features, it's not a color scheme too ridiculous for any actual tarantula while helping display its secondary typing. I also like the theme of a jumping spider evolving into a tarantula, they're both the most popular pet spiders which is neat. The point about the urticating hairs is a fair criticism, though I'm fine it's visually fluffy more then anything. As a spiderfag Galvantula is the best representation of the animal while adding a elemental theme that doesn't even feel that outside the realm of reality. Ariados and Spidops deviate too much from actual animal to feel like a proper depiction and I actually really like Araquanid but wish the head was a little more spiderlike outside of the eye spots.
