Gen VI was three long years of disappointment.
Disappointment in how bad XY were.
Disappointment in how bad ORAS were as remakes.
Disappointment that we weren't getting a Z to maybe fix Kalos like Platinum fixed Sinnoh.
I have no hope for Gen VII to be any better, Gen VI killed any optimism I might have otherwise had.

I have literally zero reason to EVER play XY again after the first run when I can play a better Pokémon game instead. Not one reason at all. I dare you to try to think of one.
