Yes I know, "hurr durr kids game". But I just hate the feeling that every single objective (gym, team star base, titan pokemon) is preceeded by the respective NPC checking in on you from the phone. I mean fuck, so far your rival literally shows up in person at each gym like she's your legal guardian.
If you're going to do open world, do it all the fucking way. Give me an option where I can just GO instead of "oh you've encountered this thing. here grab my hand...come on kiddo, let's go..."
