Gonna post this because apparently we've forgotten how Lunar New Year events work:
- Most of the spawns will be for Pokémon that are red and yellow (usually Magikarp, Fennekin, and Darumaka as a rare spawn)
- Usually there's also some kinda interesting Pokémon in 7km eggs, mostly garbage though
- Sometimes they'll have Gyarados spawns and/or shiny boost
- One or two spawns related to the zodiac, if there's a regional with the animal involved you might get some timed research encounters with it
- Supposedly a boosted chance for getting lucky friends and/or lucky trades (sometimes they forget to turn it on)
