Unlike Aku no Hana there isn't so much torture from a single abusive person, but it's eerily realistic while also being surreal as fuck. It's about a kid growing up in a really bad home environment, but him and his family are drawn as simple cartoon birds while everyone else is drawn normally. It's about growing up in a bad place and how different people cope. If you've ever seen the banner with a Japanese guy with poofy hair, glasses, and a big toothy smile that's the main character's idea of what God looks like.
It's a 10/10.
