I'm really astounded that nobody seems to have picked up the hint that there was a huge dropoff of Pokemon players after generation 1. Just because you've been playing Pokemon for 20+ years doesn't mean everyone else has been too.
The whole reason Pokemon GO was so successful was that it gave people an easy, convenient, fun, and FREE way of getting back into Pokemon. People are excited for LGPE too, and I've seen a number of people considering getting a Switch for it.
