Anyway... If an intimidating canine-based pokemon to go by, I think african wild dog is a good bet. Beside their squeaking sounds, these canines are way more aggressive and vicious than what people think. (Because they are wild animals which live beside LIONS, these canines has to be aggressive)
I think it's refreshing if we got a canine-based pokemon of wild non-wolflike dogs opposite to the domesticated breeds to get in almost every gen. (Lucario/Zoroark/Midday-Lycanroc are pretty cool though)
