Gym would be inside a TV studio. The gym leader would be a Game Show host, and the player has to go thorugh 3 trials (one memory based, one skill based and a quiz round) to get to the end. However the gym leader will try to sabotage the player in during the trials (throwing stuff at you, stoping a question before it's fully made, etc) because the audience loves when a participant fails. If you fail, your party gets poisoned and you have to fight a trainer battle. If you succeed you may skip the battle.
