Plus, if we really want to use imagination, then i can say that the 3D picture you posted sparked my imagination and strong feelings about how that place would look like IRL, and the "logic" would still work because the games are heavily stylized and unrealistic and if the game had a style say like Metal Gear V or Warframe then and only then i could accept it as "how it would really look". And you couldn't argue against this because i could just name any old 3D game like original FF7, the characters certainly weren't supposed to be those squared abominations the game shows me.
