I eventually got into a match where I was using: Samurott(Leftovers), Magenzone(no Sturdy, because it was the one I caught in-game), and Gallade because he was still my bro back then.
My opponent was using Infernape, Flygon and Dragonite (and funnily enough, Flygon and Dragontie were both shiny).
I lead with Samurott and he led with Infernape. He switched out just as I was using Surf, to Flygon, who took half damage from that. He nails me with Draco Meteor, but Samurott survives just long enough to take Flygon out with Ice Beam.
He then sends out Dragonite and finishes off Samurott with Thunderbolt. I sent out Magnezone for the dragon resist, and hoped I could paralyze it. But, he wasn't stupid, and switched out to Infernape, which destroyed Magnezone with EQ.
Gallade was all I had left, and I didn't think I'd be able to finish off the rest of his team alone, so I threw Gallade out and resigned my fate.
Infernape used Flare Blitz but Gallade SURVIVED with only a handful of HP left, nigga was in the red.
