Besides that, as it is now the length of its thighs relative to its lower legs would make walking difficult at best, since it would have a poor ability to regulate the distance of the point at which its foot contacts the ground, relative to its body. At the very least the thigh should be shortened and the lower leg lengthened, but the addition of an extra joint would be ideal for both walking and climbing.
But yes, I suppose if you ignore all that, they do have the downside of being a bit thinner than its normal ones.
