I thought it was underbaked and was hit with an uncomfortable rush of disappointment when Pokemon Bank connectivity did not update Sun with a National Dex. When I saw that there was no way to checklist all of the Pokemon anymore, I foresaw the franchise was doomed to continue this route. I was immediately proven right the moment these games came to Switch
I still like some of the new Pokemon and characters. There's some changes to the game I enjoy like how Snow works in Gen IX versus how Hail worked. But I don't really buy or play these games anymore because they straight up don't look fun. Even attempting to pirate Sword I realized the game was genuinely fucking horrible so I stopped playing and just went back to the older games
and played fighting games instead like the retard I amEven being cautiously optimistic for Z-A means fucking nothing to me because I'm expecting it to not meet my apparently impossibly high standards anymore so I'll just stick to PokeMas where I can collect the new girls and the older games where I can collect my favorite mons
