Even then, canonically the wild ones are the ones that are more violent as it's stated in SWSH that wild Pokemon are always scarier and less friendly than a trained one, and Bede informs the player that his Hatterene likes to destress in large areas with few things and views emotions as less "I'm going to murder everything around me levels of rage" and more "annoyance".
If you tried to wrangle a wild Hatt yeah it's gonna fucking maul you but when they're trained they're just as kind and friendly as any other Pokemon. It's probably one of those Pokemon where it's best to raise it from an Egg or when it's a young Hatenna so it has more time to get to know you.
