GF doesn't care about the hardcore audience who are a drop of the game's sales.

You are free to play the game as you want as make it as complicated as you want. Stop asking for difficulty options which are nothing but "hurrr da enemy Pokemon is 5 levels higher xdd"

Do these guys even know anything? Do they just design Pokemon and say that it does this thing without thinking on the why or adding lore and thought to them?

It's like they just say that something does something, but when asked why or for details, they don't know why that something does that something.
