My absolute, best relationship seeking advice is... be selfish. Sounds counter-intuitive, I know, but go along with me for a second.
You have your interests, your passions. Chase those hard. Push yourself. Are there things you don't like about yourself? Write down steps and work to change them. Pursue a self you're proud of, build confidence. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, look for someone to "fix" you or make your life have meaning. Don't look for a fantasy "the one" meant for you. No man or woman should expect that of a S.O. and it puts too much pressure on the other person.
Be pleased with yourself first. A confident person who pursues their passions is happier, better suited for serious relationships and far more attractive to others looking for relationships. Hell, you'll probably find the perfect person while pursuing your passions who's into the same shit as you are. So, be selfish first and it'll get you a long ways.
