Been a few months since my last nuzlocke but I've decided move on to gen 8 now. I've only played this game once and the only things I remember are the overabundance of cutscenes and it being very easy. So besides levelcaps I'm gonna look up as little as possible to give myself some kind of challenge. To differentiate between hidden/visible encounters I roll a dice whenever I enter a new area. Odds means I catch the first hidden encounter, evens means I catch the closest visible one. I get two wild area encounters after every gym (I got three to start because I only made up that rule after catching Baltoy when I realised how many encounters I could get before the first gym).
And to start of a bit embarassingly I kinda jumped the gun trying to a level 14 Stufful with my entire team around level 10 and barely capable of surviving two hits from it. Then figuring I must be a little underlevelled already I grinded a bit before then finding out the trainers in Motostoke were all ~level 10 anwyay. I can tell the Wild Area is great and balanced for these runs.
>>57119187Hey nice to see a familiar name coming back at the same time! Good luck with the new autismlocke, are you gonna do any challenge hacks or just quality of life stuff like that?
>>57119209Sounds like a pretty rough hack. How does the wishing well work though, does it just allow you to switch out a mon for something random?
>>57112350Damn that's a rough loss, never underestimate just how frail the Abra line is I guess. Really impressed by the use of Ditto though. Only ever used one effectively against Morty, Clair and Lance in HGSS because mom bought me a choice scarf, which was insane in the first place.
