So I'm closing in to 38 and I want to try and make a pokestop out of this big ass mural right at the entrance to my apartment complex. It's all fancy and has a bunch of modern art on it and shit and considering some of the other things I see made into pokestops this would 100% pass easily. The area location in the image is fake I just picked some random USA state but the idea where I live is basically the same. The mural is at the distance where that green star is and my actual home location doesn't reach it, I'm just barely shy of hitting it. I know they are reverting distance changes or whatever but that's temporary and I need this set up right for long term use. If I just go over there and scan it as normal (assuming that's how it works?) the pokestop will be placed too far for me to reach from my house. I have to somehow place the stop where the bottom image shows, still in range of the actual physical monument, but the actual center of the pokestop is closer to my home so I can reach it.
How the fuck can I somehow do this?
