>>37451912Tamagotchi has been a thing again since 2004. It stayed strong in Japan ever since, including an anime series, two feature films, and a new line of full color-screen Tamagotchis. In the US, it's been more touch and go, with lots coming out for a bit, and then it dies down, comes back, dies again, etc. Most recently, they've released replicas of the original 1997 versions, which you can get right now at Target and GameStop.
As for whether the Eevee Tama is coming stateside, we don't know. The US Tamagotchi Twitter account said essentially "stay tuned" but there's no concrete announcement yet. But with how well the Eevee Tama is doing right now in Japan, it'd be stupid NOT to bring it stateside.
