Anyone out there play the Pokemon tabletop game?
I just found a nice post on /tg/ and I was wondering what other broken things can you do in this system.
>Play Pokemon Tabletop RPG.
>Breed a Trubbish with ability aftermath.
>Teach it via egg move or TMs, Explosion and Selfdestruct.
>Level up until it learns Stockpile and Swallow.
>As a trainer, take Not Yet! (If a pokemon would faint, it can make one move and one shift and then faint.)
>Spend 3 turns stockpiling.
>Explosion for 6d20+55+ATK in 7 meter burst.
>Trubbish is set to -50% hp by wording of Explosion.
>Aftermath triggers: 5 meter burst of 1/4 hp damage with no resistances or defenses applied.
>Activate Not Yet!, use Swallow.
>Trubbish immediately goes to full hp.
>Next turn, use Selfdestruct for 10d10+46+ATK in a 5 meter burst.
>Triggers Aftermath again.
Assuming you can make Trubbish last to turn 4, this would be a deadly combo which not much could counter-act.
I am asking you guys because i know you all love Pokemon.
