Very fun thread, OP!
Hmm, let’s see... I live in a desert biome, by the sea, and in an urban area that also sees vast amounts of migratory avian and insect species.
>Flygon
I can see myself caring for a Flygon that I found and evolved from a Vibrava. Various dragonfly species migrate through here, though some are also native, too. Flygons would dominate the area and be regarded as a regional treasure.
>Salazzle
No-brainer that a lizard would make her home here. Hunting and feeding her with wild prey is easy and convenient, especially in migration seasons.
>Purrloin/Liepard
There are a lot of cats in my region. And I mean a LOT, almost as much as people.
I’m joking, but there indeed is a lot of cats that come out at night and hunt for small prey, dig through trash, or even stay by the doors of some houses because they know some humans would come out and feed them with fresh stuff.
Because of the feline population and their frequency at night, I’ll have a Purrloin or Liepard.
>Lycanroc (Midnight Form)
There are also lots of dogs here. Not as many as cats, but just like them, they’re active at night. The more solitary ones are smart and live near humans who put out fresh food out of kindness.
Surrounding my region, there are rocky cliffs. And there were more in the past, but they’ve been built upon during suburban expansion or worked through to build highways and tunnels, so with the combination of rocks and nocturnal canines, I’d definitely have a Midnight Lycanroc on my team.
>Raichu
Jerboas live here too! Sure, they’re not the long-eared subspecies that inspired Raichu, but a jerboa’s a jerboa, so I’ll have one with me.
>Cramorant
Personally, I’ve seen black cormorants (might be Great Cormorants) makes their homes here in summer, even if it’s not their native biomes and they just migrate through the region during winter. Granted, they’re probably juvenile and would leave once they mature, but cormorants are cool, and so is Cramorant.
