Venusaur bro here. To be perfectly frank, I chose Bulbasaur as a kid because I read somewhere before I started playing that he was the easiest to train, and I had no idea what I was going into. However, once it evolved into Venusaur I never regretted a thing. I loved "Pine". He was like my best friend. I later read one of the pokemon comics, and it had Bill talking about witnessing his Ivysaur evolving one morning, and how beautiful it was. I pretty much felt the same way, even though it was just a goddamn game.
I've added a Venusaur to my main team in White 2, and he's still my bro.
