Happy Independence Day
>>36010498>TOTTLegendaries clearly have a lot of power and influence, but I find it a bit hard to believe that they're actually essential for certain aspects of the world to function. For instance, Kyogre has a great deal of control over the seas, but I doubt anything would actually happen to the ocean if Kyogre were somehow captured, incapacitated, or killed. Likewise, Yveltal is closely linked to death, but if it was taken out, death probably wouldn't cease to exist. This may not be the case for all Legendaries, but I haven't given the topic enough thought to come to a final conclusion about it.
Regarding capture, I get the impression that people in the Pokemon world would revere higher-tier Legendaries enough to call their capture taboo, while lower-tier Legendaries (like the birds or the Eon Pokemon) might be considered more acceptable to catch. It certainly wouldn't be easy to capture a Legendary of any tier, though, and anyone who managed to catch one would probably become famous--assuming they could keep the Legendary under control.

>>36027277>no matter what, they never stay captured foreverI like this idea. It makes more sense than Legendaries indefinitely staying with the trainers who caught them.

>How do you manage the basic pre-trainer schooling and the issuing of trainer licensesA similar question cropped up in an earlier writethread. You may find some good replies there.
