>>43880955>>43883749I should say btw, I do agree that some Pokemon in the universe would absolutely prefer being treated like an animal or pet rather than being treated as an equal partner. Pokemon like Lillipup and its line or maybe Eevees and a few of them. But when it comes to the bigger brainy ones and ones who gained higher degrees of sapience amongst the humans I don't think they'd all like that.
Obviously the games and anime are never going to tackle this concept on a deeper level (See Mewtwo) because its a kids game and this borders on that whole "Magical Dogfighting/Slavery" angle they are trying to avoid talking about. So its primarily just my take and perspective on how this would pan out in a more realistic setting.
