There are a few Pokemon that got creative close-ups or angles to make them look larger. I know these four all felt downgraded in Yellow. Yellow as whole is weird since it tries to pack in more detail than it felt like the artists knew how to, so you often have more on-model but less interesting sprites, and on occasion sprites that mimic the official art even more than Gold and Silver would.
