realistically they'll usually end up being about the same

The game was never marketed as a walking game. There is literally a prompt to say 'I'm a passenger' which you are forced to accept to continue using the app.
They ARE removals, I don't understand how you can argue otherwise. They were in the game, no they arent.

Do you even know what rooting is? tip: people do it for completely legitimate reasons that have nothing to do with pokemon. I have a rooted tablet which I rooted just to use specific browsers and to get certain controllers working on it and it worked fine to play pogo with initially, and I enjoyed using a larger interface on it when I was at home, but now I'm blocked from doing so. How can you say thats not a removal either?
