grindan for koga, mostly through rockets in silph co. though they're pretty tough. one of them had a conkeldurr that knocked out musharna with a crit rock slide. honestly that's kind of a relief seeing that musharna wasn't that great anyways and i think slowbro should be a better fit overall.
also considering most of my catches are just the same shit you find everywhere (herdier, staravia, furret, cottonee, petilil...) i was pleasantly surprised to get ferroseed from the safari zone, on my first ball no less. i do want to use it but i don't know if there's room on the team for it right now. if something else dies it'll be my first pick for sure. also slowbro's "initiation" was taking down the saffron dojo which it did a pretty decent job with. heracross destroys my team and i'm appreciating barrier on tentacruel (slowbro also got amnesia, which is really funny to me).
also turns out one of the combuskens in the dojo had goddamn psycho cut so i know slowbro's a way better check to gary's blaziken than tentacruel which is good to know.
>>36195343ye, i figured as much. it's a shame u-turn is postgame because i think that's the one thing that could make liepard decent in-game. glad you got some use of it in the e4 battles. congrats!
>>36195691i've never fought erika without having a type advanage but i'll take your word that she's probably hard without it. koga however is consistently tough for me so i feel you there.
>>36195760i looked it up. rse has 3x as many poison types as bw. honestly if you want to do a poisonlocke just go with any kanto game. there's a reason it's infamous for being a toxic waste dump.
