We should create our own tier list then. It would probably be better based off of a fighting game styled tier list, with grades based off not usage, but how good the Pokemon is.
>Tiers are made of no more than 100 Pokemon
>Pokemon are scored on a scale of 100 points
>91-98 points is SS tier
>81-90 points is S tier
>71-80 points is A tier
>61-70 points is B tier
etc
>Legendaries and Pokemon that reach a score of 99-100 are put into SSS tier, AKA the Meta Knight/Space Furries tier
>Up to 20 points awarded for movepool. Smeargle would get a solid 20, obviously, Greninja an 18, a flat 0 being Unown, and a 2 being Meganium.
>Up to 20 points awarded for typing. Abomasnow gets a 1, Azumarill gets a 20
>Up to 20 points awarded for abilities. Muk would get a 0, whereas Mega Mom or Mega Mawile would get a 20
>Up to 20 points for utility. Ferrothorn and Skarmory would get a solid 20. Pokemon that aren't very useful outside of being a counter would score really low, IE Pokemon that are designed specifically to counter one top threat, but aren't capable of doing much if that threat isn't being used.
>20 points for something else. I dunno. Perhaps how likely basement dwellers are to yiff to them, or little kids likely to have a team full of them?
This way you could change individual things (rate Drizzle lower for abilities after the X/Y nerf to it, for example) that would drop or raise a Pokemon. Moody wouldn't have to be banned unless Pokemon with Moody get rated too highly.
