White Kyurem was actually free, Lapras just kind of walled all its moves and Toxic stalled it.
Then came Ghetsis.
Cofagrigus was easy pickings for Bisharp. Raising Bisharp was a fantastic idea, since Cofagrigus could basically do nothing to him.
Seismitoad was next, and Lilligant was able to one shot it with Giga Drain.
After was Eelektross, and that's where things flew south. I had to make a choice. I did the calcs, and I could take ONE Acrobatics or Flamethrower. Only one, not a Crit. I absolutely had to keep everyone else alive, so I decided to go for a Quiver Dance, take that chance, then go down swinging with Petal Dance, which I think should have one shot.
Unfortunately, Lilligant danced her way to her demise as an Acrobatics Crit her. It's a bit sad, she was the star of the show against Marlon, only to fall off the stage against Ghetsis. Goddamn you beautiful dancer you will be missed, and you were avenged.
I sent in Stoutland next, and was able to two shot Eelektross and exchange blows.
Toxicroak was next, and in hindsight, I should have not only taught Psychic to Lapras, I should have switched to her. Instead, I did the calcs again and Stoutland actually survives a Brick Break. But just one.
I took that risk, ready to lose Stoutland if I had to.
She lived, and I was able to take Toxicroak down.
Then came Drapion. Thankfully Lapras was able to take it out with Surf.
Finally, Ghetsis's Hydreigon. Rock Slide was a pain and in hindsight I probably should have calc'd this too but I figured I could live one and then Ice Beam to victory. I got flinched.
I then realized that Bisharp walls all of Hydreigon's moves, so I switched him in. I kept getting flinched by Dragon Rush, but I just had to stay in. More risks to take, but risks I had to take to achieve victory. A single X-Scissor took it out.
That could have gone way better. Looking at the Elite Four though, I can't imagine Lilligant would have helped out much, but... Goddamnit.
But we'll keep going.
