The Binacle line steals the Burmy/Wormadam gimmick. Now, whenever Binacle faints, it anchors itself to objects from its surroundings: scrap metal in buildings, fallen wood in grassy/forested areas, and the standard rock everywhere else. When it evolves to Barbaracle, its form is fixed to whatever it was last anchored to as a Binacle and its type and moveset changes to match. Grass Barbaracle has -10 Defense and +10 Speed compared to the standard Rock Barbaracle spread, while Steel Barbaracle has +10 Defense and -10 Speed. Grass/Water and Steel/Water are much better type combos for a Shell Smasher with Tough Claws than Rock/Water, especially with Grass picking up Leaf Blade/Power Whip and Steel gaining Bullet Punch/Meteor Mash, so with this change 2/3rds of all Barbaracle forms could be OU.
