You know what's funny about the ORAS one is that no Collector in ORAS has more than 2 pokemon in his team, yet in his artwork he's holding 6 pokeballs like an autistic edgelord. I love it.
What I like about the the SM/USUM version is that they kept practically the same design (which is good), but kind of inverted the palette (dark blue and yellow), and made him look exactly like a filthy American tourist.
>>49913982>Ace Trainer because I like the idea of running into other elite trainers that have gotten their badges looking to challenge the league on my way to the very top of the Pokemon battle scene. Like generic rival tier characters as competition gets narrower and you close in on your final goalI also like that about Ace Trainers, it's pretty cool how you start to encounter them after a certain point when you feel like you're already getting pretty strong and your pokemon are half or fully evolved, and you still keep battling them in Victory Road, so it feels like they're serious trainers, unlike others.
Also, their dialogue sets them apart from other trainer classes, they share useful tips directly or show a competitive spirit.
