>>39780798I'd be okay with this if it meant that the throwing mechanic stays and they keep thinking of other ways to innovate the pokemon formula, but I'm fully aware that what it actuallly means is that Masuda wants the series to be aimed at toddlers and will make the game have no competitive value for the sake of appeasing his crotchfruit.
It also means they'll keep cutting out features and pokemon every game (despite the console being able to handle more than what they keep lying about) and forcing people to only play with new pokemon, even if they hate them. That was one of the only few things that Pokemon had over Digimon and other monster games.
If you haven't at least considered sharing your time with Digimon, I would do so now. The Digimon games are only getting better. Start with Dawn and Dusk if you want an experience closest to Pokemon imo.
