To suit Magma's design, they played off of the "fat nerd with an undeserved sense of superiority" archetype and made Tabitha a foil to Matt's more muscular body. The artists made the characters more interesting by giving them distinct designs, silhouettes, and personalities instead of "just a no-personality Magma grunt with a cape and stripes on his pants", so why so hostile about it? Does a "fat retard" character design hit too close to home, anon?
