I know no one will believe a random VP user, but I heard the same thing from my Japanese friend at the end of last month
English is not my native language, so it may be a little difficult to read, PleAse uNdeRstAnd
The bad graphics we saw in February were the result of TPC's rush to reveal the game on Pokemon Day
If Pokemon Day didn't reveal any new mainline games, the community will be even more disappointed than the last time they exposed Tencent bullshit MOBA games
At the time of making the BDSP trailer, the game was still in the early stages of development, so everything was rushed out and very rough
I know ILCA may have questionable taste in art style, but that's definitely not what they want to show the public
So they brought in a team from another company (I don't know which) to help them improve the graphics in order to salvage the reviews before E3
That's the truth of the leak this time, and Centro obviously doesn't know any backstory
Incidentally,I suspect that the development of the BDSP may not have started until the second half of last year, and TPC may not have originally intended to make these games
Since the BDSP was apparently born because the community craved classic remakes like HGSS or ORAS, and GF didn't want to make a regular remake,so TPC outsourced these games
(You know, if you can be sure that tens of millions of people will buy these games, why not make them?)
As for why GF didn't want to do a normal remake, it was because they wanted to do something different for the 25th anniversary*, like SM for the 20th
And because TPC has given them a very short development time in recent years, they can't develop two games at the same time, or they won't be able to finish them before the holiday of that year
(*Masuda said in an interview a few years ago that he was interested in making an open world Pokemon game, and eventually we got LA)
