It's strange, but the Detective Pikachu movie interests me almost exclusively for its setting. Despite trying to be kinda dark and gritty, it reminds me of a lot of the scenic art that's frequently posted in these threads. They could've cheaped it out by just doing a "talking pika gets thrown in reel worl lul", but they managed to craft what seems to be a fully alive Pokémon setting for their generic movie plot.
