Here's what I would consider my official blue team. My memory is shit and I used a fuckton of pokemon, but these are probably my most used and memoriable ones.
Gengar Lv. 54
>Hypnosis
>Confuse Ray
>Night shade
>Dream Eater
Haunter was one of my favorite cards in the TCG, and therefore one of my favorite pokemon. Evolved him by trading with my cousin, and then being disappointed with the result. I got over it, and relentless spammed the hypnosis dream eater combo thinking it was the best thing ever.
Mew Lv. 57
>Fly
>Surf
>Psychic
>Strength
And so begins my bad habit of putting strength on everything. Mew was surprisingly not glitched, but gamesharked. Caught him in the first route at level 2. He was an HM slave before I knew that was a thing. I used to think he was stronger than mewtwo.
Missingno Lv. 100-80
>Fly
>Surf
>Strength
>Sky attack
It may seem stupid but I experimented with the missingno glitch so goddamn much back in the day that I almost consider the blocky abomination an official part of my team. One particular M block leveled down from 100 to 80 and evolved into a flying kangaskhan, which was so ridiculous it made me like Kangaskhan.
Chansey Lv. 58
>Strength
>Egg bomb
>Softboiled
>Substitute
Another victim of my 'put strength on everything' policy. This chansey was (Somehow) caught in the safari zone. I used it because I liked rare pokemon, but unfortunatly couldn't into stats, which is why this poor chansey ended up a physical attacker for some godforsaken reason.
Blastoise Lv. 88
>Surf
>Hydro Pump
>Bubblebeam
>Ice Beam
My broest of bros, the blastoise which to this day still resides in my blue cart. You'll notice a bad case of 'All STAB' syndrome. Ice Beam made him my designated Lance destroyer.
Omastar Lv.56
>Surf
>Hydro Pump
>Water Gun
>Spike Cannon
Unlike many other kids who picked sickle crab, I picked the helix fossil. Discomastar became a valued member of the team because I really liked the move spike cannon.
