The only think I didn't like is Giovanni's Rhyhorn destroying Red's team, including his Jolteon, with a thunderbolt, in one hit, after how much they focused on telling us about using super effective moves and what not in the Brock fight, and how they gave us a full-length fight against Giovannie yet rushed the fuck out of the final Green battle.
The Charizard X promotion at the end wasn't that good either, but I wasn't surprised.
Other than that, it was highly enjoyable and I got what I wanted out of it. I have a feeling people only despise it because they skipped over their waifu/husbando gym leaders.
