Ok, so imagine that GF comes out with a pokemon side game for the WiiU. This spin off will have a overall story, but for the most part is a sandbox with one huge region you are free to explore. The majority of the game will be side quests. (good side quests, no kill&collect bullshit) And most importantly, you get ONE pokemon. At the beginning of the game you pick one of 52 starters.

There are 3 of each type, with the exception of 4 for dragon. They are all 2 stage chains (again, except dragons) Your starter follows you around, and the entire game is basically you and your bro of choice exploring the huge landscape which has wild pokemon roaming around freely, and they will attack you
When you battle, you basically target any enemy and select one of the 4 attacks. You can only have 4 attacks equipped at a time, but at any time can change them in the menu.
Also the WiiU tablet thing is your menu and inventory I guess.
What do you guys think of the concept? Love it or hate it? Any ways to expand it or make it better?
