Basically XY 001 version of Serena who doesn't change. She probably have a crush on Ash but it will be handled differently then XY, I think she would probably spend more time lecturing Ash and telling him to behave properly.
Remember that every character is nothing more than a pawn to make the story better, the current writers forgotten that.
