>>31315470>>31316363>Fighting/FairyThe obvious answer is a pair based on the Red Oni / Blue Oni archetype, but Sawk and Throh are already that without the supernatural aspect. So my second thought would be to adopt that to another cultural equivalent while retaining the "Fairy" part.
A Fighting/Fairy type partially based on the concept of a werewolf. It would be more humanoid than monstrous in appearance, with its distinguishing feature being a claw-like red left hand.
It would be intended to fill the role of a fast Physical-oriented Fairy. It has a physical Fairy-type signature move named something along the lines of "Lure" or "Surprise!", with relatively low BP but the powerful gimmick of dropping the target's Defense one stage before dealing damage.
On the Fighting-type side it would have pretty standard moves like Close Combat and Drain Punch, but would also be able to take advantage of Dynamic Punch by having access to No Guard.
It could also have a new Ability called Frenzy which would either act like a free Big Root, or be something new like "all moves heal for %damage when the user drops below X health"
Its counterpart would be a Fairy/Fighting type loosely based on a vampire. It would be intended to be a viable Special-oriented Fighting type, but like many Fairy-types it would be a bulky Special attacker.
Its defining characteristic would be its cloak-like wings that it uses to shield its body when not attacking.
It would have access to Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, and Aura Sphere, and might be explained as an "Aura Vampire" in Pokédex lore. Its wings/cloak would also justify Wide Guard.
On the Fairy side, it would have Draining Kiss, Moonblast, and Moonlight.
It would have a signature Ability that increases its stats while Weather is in effect, but decreases them under Sun. Its secondary ability would be Overcoat.
It would also have a signature move that protects itself and allied Pokémon from weather damage for five turns.
