>>51576103>I know shadow Tyranitar is going to be stronger than mega TyranitarNot really, it has marginally better DPS but Mega Tyranitar's TDO is almost 2x greater than Shadow Tyranitar's. At worst, you're effectively getting two slots-worth of slightly-worse Shadow Tyranitars out of Mega Tyranitar. Doesn't mean you need it though, especially if you already have a powered-up Mega Aerodactyl. Regardless, Mega Diancie will almost certainly outclass both in the future.
>is shadow Tyranitar even worth a damn in 2022?It's a much stronger but slower alternative to Rock Wrecker Rhyperior. The only downside is that there isn't too much of an incentive to power it up over Rhyperior since 12 Rhyperiors are usually enough to get the job done when it comes to soloing Mega Pokémon, at least just as well as other rock-types like Rampardos without falling over as quickly (Shadow Tyranitar still functions as a reliable anchor if you're just shy of being able to solo something like Mega Charizard Y). When Mega Pinsir comes out, though, it will have a rough time struggling against its bug and fighting-type moves in a solo. It also should be noted that, if Shadow Roggenrola comes out, then Meteor Beam Gigalith would outclass it in the shadow rock-type department. It's a decent dark-type, though slightly weaker than Brutal Swing Hydreigon.
Regardless, always a based flex!
