OP is completely right.
If we agree on the premises that people actively look for quality in the media they consume, then it is simply self evident from the fact that BDSP sold so well and that so many people are playing them that they are quality products
If BDSP are not in fact quality products then people either do not actually enjoy quality, sells literally equal quality in this case.
Always has been true always will be.
