Why is /vp/ so obsessed with Gen 5? On both spectrums.
Other websites either like it or dislike it or are in between, talking about things they enjoy or stuff they didn't in pretty calm, respectful discourse.
Meanwhile on /vp/, one day you'll see like 5 threads shitting on Gen 5 absolutely fucking relentlessly with either subjective opinions posted as absolute fact, made up shit to try and bolster their arguments, or just straight up autism "arguments" as to why it's bad and why everyone should dislike it.
Then the next day, there's 5 threads being made with pretty much the same shit, just on the opposite side of the spectrum. Getting pissed as anyone that even says something as simple as "man I didn't really enjoy some of the designs" Although it's not as if many people actually say that, usually it's "HOLY FUCK ALL GEN 5 POKEMON ARE SHIT REEEEEE".
You fuckers really need to move on, it's been almost 10 years. Start arguing or Gen 6 or 7 like this. Also, it doesn't help that mods do literally fucking nothing about it even though gen wars are straight up against the board rules. Christ all mighty.
