>>56100947Glad you've been liking it so far! Merskle's whole gym had me cheesing too, some people think it's dumb but those are liberties hack creators get to have so I love seeing it.
Honestly just the amount of Pokemon all being available and self-contained was my first big draw when I stumbled upon and started reading up on my first hack back in 2013, FireRed Omega:
https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/pokemon-fire-red-omega-in-game-discussion-tiering.3480788/Seeing the list of over 30 Pokemon available before Pewter City made me so excited, the freedom to use whatever is still one of my favourite things in any romhack, and in Unbound that's only dialed up when you have 5 more gens to choose from.
FYI though if you weren't aware, gen 8 mon implementation is really weird in Unbound. There's 1 available in most areas, but they only appear through shaking grass that can take a long time to appear, and I think you need to already have a gen 8 mon registered as caught and a dexnav for them to even appear. If there's any you wanted to use I ironically would prolly just recommend an encounter modifier cheat code:
https://www.pokemoncoders.com/pokemon-unbound-cheats/While I'm linking stuff I might as well link that New Game+ perfect save file I was talking about if you or anyone else is interested:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonUnbound/comments/yq7gdv/comment/ivn12pw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_buttonIn the Google Drive link I would recommend to just use the save file for 2.1.0 instead of 2.1.1 because the latter only has one gen of a shiny living dex split up amongst 9 saves, in the 2.1.0 save they're all in one save.
Sorry for the text wall lol.
>>56100956OST is amazing in Unbound I agree, most hacks don't have full custom music, and it's so good too.
>>56102479No problem :) I love the pallete changes based on the time of day too.
Thanks for name dropping the artist btw, love me some pixel art!
