Misty still competes and spars with Ash but it's all good natured now, as deep down she trusts and admires him and acknowledges how much he's grown. But it's nice to have a foundation that's on an even keel rather than just pining from the very beginning. They'll be arguing well into old age but relationships built on being frank and understanding like that tend to be the ones that actually last
