Magmar is one of my favorite pokemon so when I caught it I didn't actually want to evolve it, but since gen 4 doesn't have eviolite I thought it'd be better to just evolve it.
I also wanted to name it Tenochtitlan but obviously that name wouldn't fit so I compromised.

I've mostly played Emerald and not Ruby/Sapphire, but if I remember correctly that rival battle on the bridge can be surprisingly tricky so gg. Your team is pretty well suited for the next couple of gyms already.
