>>53858980I remember when I was a kid that the anime said Fire types has the ability to control their heat, also the dex never said Magcargo is as hot as 18,000 degrees F when it were first introduced which is Gen 2, it's when gen 3 dex came out they said it's as hot as 18,000 degrees F and that's the gen that had a Birch, the manbaby as a Professor... But I think it's simply that whoever wrote that dex didn't know how heat degrees work or GF told them to exaggerate it?
Also, 18,000 degrees F is only the Sun's Surface while the Sun itself is actually 27,000,000 Degrees Fahrenheit, so it's hotter than the Sun's Surface not the Sun itself.
Side-Note: Human Torch from Marvel can get hotter than the Suns Surface as well, Magcargo is his Pokemon.
Tinkaton just homerunning rocks at Metal Birds to knock them down and bonking them on the head isn't very farfetched compared to say a Baby Horse leaping over the Eiffel Tower/Ayers Rock in a single bound or Goro's Offspring throwing 1,000 punches in a blink of an eye. (Funny how Gen 3 seems to be the Gen they started writing a bunch of overexaggerated dexs)
