Overally, Blaziken is one of my easiest-to-like fire choices. However, two zones serve as a severe drawback to any attempt at fostering a genuine sympathy for this pokemon:
(A) - ever since it has been boosted all the way to heavens, it is among a good couple of pokes which are shoved down the throats of everyone by all those for whom the Smogon viability ladder marks the border between Bro-tier and shit-tier. Kindergarten-level tantrums over whose action figure is the best in the room do a poor job at convincing me that it is indeed a worthwhile investment to grant sympathy.
(B) - Blaziken's design seems to brush itself against Sonicfag avian anthros [pic-related]:
-Head-wings as a hair replacement;
-Similar manner of composing the beak into facial features;
-Chest feathery tuft which has prompted entire droves of furries to imagine a set of juicy boobs underneath such veil. Amount of resulting titted-up fanart has actually made me believe for a good moment that it is Blaziken who is a furfag go-to for a precious poke waifu - - - - - - rather than the frail, flat-chested balroom dancer Gardevoir.
