I mean they didn't make any of the models for the 3ds games they payed another studio for that. Why not get another one to make pokemon shit for them while they can still get the royalties and supervise the development. They can even make Town 2.0 electric bongaloo ft dante if they want with a full studio.
I feel like its unreasonable and unrealistic for this to happen but at least masuda wont be there to fuck the games directly anymore.
